Getting my funk on, as you do.

This past weekend, I visited Durban and guest taught a class at Umhlanga’s Guru Cat.  Studio owner, Kim Mazabow and I took this snap after two back to back classes – I taught a 90min Hot26 class, then she taught a Hot Hatha 60min class.  We practiced each other’s classes, so by the time we were done, we were as high as a cloud.  I love travelling and I love teaching, so this moment in time was right on track for my bucket list.  Did I mention that her studio is divine and full of yummy yoga love?  Well it is.  If you haven’t visited it yet, well then you must and tell her I sent you.

Another highlight, of course, is being asked to be the official ambassador for the local yoga wear and athletic leisure wear brand, YogaFunk.  Lisa Fisher travels up to Jozi a handful of times a year with her pop up shop and I just love, love, love her ultra luxurious clothing.  I want to live in them, they’re that damn comfortable.  I love the attention to detail, the fit, and I get the feels just gushing about them to everyone who asks me “oh my word, who are you wearing?”.  So, of course, you can expect to see me in these gorgeous leggings, tops, tanks, hoodies and vests all the time now: on the mat, off the mat, in between classes…  It feels like Christmas in July (even if it’s only June now).  xx See you in class.
